Alas, we can't follow along this weekend and monitor the situation. Sailtime Regatta this weekend
Would have been fun to watch them racing as we go by them.

Fort Pierce to the Bahamas
The Leone's just need to get up early, motor out and get a nice northwesterly blow and get across the gulfstream. At 5 knots, it would only take them about 20 hours.
Water with the Leone's
Rose and Mark popped in for a visit on their way to their new 38 foot Island Packet they bought that is located in Fort Pierce. I felt like Wall Drug by giving them free water, but they were in a hurry and had been driving since 0 Darkthirty. We are heading down to see them this week and hopefully get a chance to sail it without bumping into anything. I didn't have the heart to tell them that it only has one hull. Really cool that they are following their dream. Marty and Linny are doing the same thing on the Left Coast and that is also pretty neat to see.
Here is their blog:Painkiller blog

Nice low-knot wind sail.
View 3/18/12 12:24 PM in a larger map As we came back in to the marina, we noticed that DrumbeatII the 70 foot salvaged boat from Neptune Towing was gone. Also, found out the big grand prix race is next week, so we will have to check that out.
