Tx cat race
Texas Beach Cat Race from Galveston to South Padre
It would have been quite an experience to take our old Getaway and made this race, but feel we would have had our butts kicked. I think these guys are pretty serious.

Great point made about people out there sailing on a shoestring budget. I like the idea about the main character of this story, a professor, biching about lowlifes getting in his way. Kismet will dictate his fate when he is out on the water and he runs into trouble and some lowlife has to save his sorry behind.
