Cruising Outpost

Looks like Bob was shafted by the owners he sold his magazine Lats and Ats to and has to start all over again. How do people sleep when they screw people out of their life and dreams?

I know the feeling Bob.

Flying the Jolly Roger

3SUM with Lisa and Lisa

Lisa, that be my wifey, facebooked our old Nowthen neighbor who now lives in Largo, FL to see if she wanted to take a shot at sailing. She said yes and showed up as we pulled up to the pier. We loaded everything up and headed out without nary a problem. We had about 12 knots top wind, otherwise, we just did slightly more than bobbed and caught up with all the social activities back in Nowthen.

We headed back and even with the extra docking help, I managed to pilot into our slip like a drunken elephant. I wish our finger pier was a little longer than 2 feet. Whoever designed these docks definitely never had a boat. These are pretty lame affairs and our light boat is a pain to come into the slip. We need some ideas for coming in better.

Besides the bad docking on my part, I think "a good time was had by all."

My New Book Cover - Now I just have to think of a story to write

I think this book is probably going to be one of the best books I haven't written just by judging the cover!

3SUM with her shiny new bottom painted

3SUM had her bottom painted and is looking pretty good. Lisa was taking the pictures as I motored over to pick her up at the fuel dock. I wish people would just get their gas and go, instead of having a picnic in front of the fuel dock. Lisa had to make quite a jump to get into the boat. We went out and had little to no wind, but 3SUMs new bottom really sped things along.
